More Arches


So, we were in Arches National Park eight times in the five days we were in Moab.  It was that good.  Here are some additional shots.
This is Delicate Arch, which is the most famous and most photographed.  It is 45 feet high and 30 feet wide.  Most people shoot it from above but I wanted a different angle. 

 
In this shot, you can see that it is pretty close to a cliff. 
 
Here is Windows Arch at sunrise.

 
And here are some of the people who climbed up on the rocks in the dark to be able to shoot through the arch to another arch just as the sun came up.  You can see that shot on Karol’s blog when she uploads it because I didn’t get up that early.  http://shootingacrossthecountry.blogspot.com/


 
This is Landscape Arch, which spans 360 feet.

 
This is Broken Arch…

 And Karol’s photo buddy Jamie shooting it to give you a sense of scale.  This was actually one of the smaller arches.
